November Favourites

Well I'm a few days late again but hey better late than never! :) I missed October so I thought I would carry on with my November faves. These are some of the things I've been loving over the last two months. This month I have two beauty favourites and two fashion/accessories favourites :)

Australis Highlight & Contour brush

I've been on the hunt for a new contour brush for awhile now because my Real Techniques one just hasn't got the shape I want. I was in Big W and I came across this double ended highlight and contour brush by Australis. The contour end has the perfect angle and is really dense which makes it great for blending. The highlight end is nice and soft and it's perfect for applying my highlighter to my cheeks and nose. This was a bargain at only $10 and I haven't stopped using it since I got it.

NKD Black Clay face mask

I bought this online awhile back and have been using it at least once a week since, it reminds me a lot of the Glam glow mask (but without the tingling sensation you get from it!). The website says that this mask 'helps stimulate circulation in the skin and draw out essential oils from the skin'. I use it more so to give my skin a deep clean especially the day after a night out where I would wear a bit more make up than usual. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and I feel like it helps to clear out my pores. The packet itself lasts ages as a little goes a long way and all NKD products are vegan friendly, for $17.95 I think its fairly reasonably priced and if you keep an eye on their Instagram (GETNKD) they often have 10% discounts.

Available here

Quay Australia Sunglasses

On to a fashion favourite, I love these platinum style sunglasses by Quay Australia. This particular pair is from the Quay X Shay range by Shay Mitchell of Pretty Little Liars fame. I've badly been in need of a new pair of sunglasses as my old pair were covered in scratches and the Quay brand is really affordable with loads of styles to pick from. I got my pair from a shop in Fremantle called Soul Sisters but the website delivers Internationally and delivery is free within Australia.

Available here

Rubi Shoes Woven Espadrilles

Again, espadrilles were another item I've been on the hunt for for summer and I finally found a pair I really liked from Rubi Shoes. I love the woven style and the studs on the heel, the fact that their black means they go with everything which is great. I've gotten great wear out of them over the last month, their just perfect for day wear and casual nights out. These were an absolute bargain at $10.50 reduced from $30, they are also available in a tan colour.

Another month done and dusted! And now just one more month to go until the New Year where has the time gone! :)

Priceline Make Up Haul

Hello again, it's been awhile! So today I'm picked up a few bits in Priceline from their 40% off all cosmetics sale. I love the way Priceline do this, it saves me a fortune! I didn't go too mad this time I just got a few things that I've wanted for awhile and I'm also saving my money for make up in Duty Free when I fly home at Christmas :)

Australis AC ON TOUR Contouring & Highlighting Kit Cream

The first thing I picked up was this cream contour palette from Australis, I already have the powder version of this but I find the colours can be too dark for my skin at times. I got the light complexion version and I'm interested to see the difference both in shades and how the cream blends in comparison to the powders. I've swatched the colours and they seem pretty pigmented like the powder. It comes with three darker shades for contouring and three lighter shades for highlighting. At full price this kit usually costs $24.95 but in the sale I got it for $14.97! :)

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

Next I got the Revlon Colourstay foundation in the shade 'Buff'. I've seen a few reviews on this so I've been planning on buying it for awhile now to see if lives up to the hype. I've been pretty good the last few months in terms of make up purchases and I've been trying to use up a few of my foundations before buying more. So I can't wait to give this one a go. This usually retails for $34.95 but today I bought it for $20.97.

Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer

This actually a re-purchase because I'd just run out of my old one, I got the lightest shade Ivory because I like to use it to highlight under my eyes. This the one concealer I use the most I love the coverage it gives and a little goes a long way. Usually retails for $14.95, today it was $8.97.

Essence Liquid Lipstick

Lastly, I bought this pale pink liquid lipstick from Essence. I was looking at it the last day I was in Priceline and said I get it another day. It smells amazing and gives a nice shine to the lips. I plan on using it for mostly everyday wear and over some of my pale pink lipsticks. I think this shade is called 'colour party'. This is actually relatively cheap without the discount, it usually costs $5.10 but today it was $3.06.

And that's everything that I bought, if you live near a Priceline I highly recommend checking out the sale, tomorrow (19-11-15) is the last day to get 40% off. The sale is also available on the Priceline website here
Happy shopping,

October Payday Fashion Wishlist

Hello everyone! I'm back again with some fashion items I've been lusting after until payday rolls around again :)

Boohoo Embroidered Playsuit

It's really starting to warm up here in Perth some I've been on the lookout for some pieces to add to my Summer Wardrobe. I love wearing playsuits in the summer months I think great for a simple yet fashionable look. This playsuit is from Boohoo and I love the boho style of it with embroidery around the neckline and sleeves. I already have this saved in my basket for payday :) it's available from ASOS here

River Island Cheetah Throw Over Cape

Last summer I lived in kimono's and I'm in love with this kimono style cape from River Island it's perfect for both the beach and those evenings when it's slightly cooler. I love the cheetah print it really is a statement piece. This kimono is currently on sale from ASOS  reduced from $78 to $46 so it's definitely worth investing in :)

Warehouse Sparkle Bandeau Jumpsuit

I know it's really early to be even thinking about this but I'm already planning ahead for Christmas. I'm heading back to Ireland this year for Christmas for the first time in two years and I'm really excited for it. I think this jumpsuit will be perfect for a Christmas party/night out I hope to purchase this soon before it sells out but I just love the culotte style and touch of sparkle. I'm hoping the material isn't too heavy so I can get away with wearing it in the summer months here in Oz! This is also available from ASOS reduced from $81 down $32.

Missguided Laser Cut Heels
I've been on the lookout for some new heels for nights out and I love the style of these heels from Missguided. Looking through my wardrobe lately I've noticed I've far too many black heels and only one pair of nude heels so I thought these would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. These also come in black too, but I couldn't wait until payday so I've already ordered these, oops! :-/

All of the links for these items are in this blogpost, let me know in the comments
If there's anything you've been dreaming of payday for :)

September Favourites 2015

Hello everyone! I've been pretty AWOL this month from the blog due to work commitments but now I'm on school holidays I'm hoping to post a lot more.So this weeks post is another favourites

Lush Tea Tree Tonic Water
So first up is a beauty favourite that I've been using every single day since I bought it. If you suffer from acne prone skin this is the perfect remedy. I use this in the evening after I've removed my make up to remove any reminants of make up left and it just helps to soothe and calm my skin. I use it in the morning after my face wash as well. Since I've started using this I have noticed a big difference in my skin, breakouts seem to clear up much quicker and are occurring less frequently for me so I'll definitely be repurchasing this when it runs out

TEMT Linen Shirt
Next up is a fashion favourite, I bought this shirt last month and I've been waiting for the warm temperatures to come back to wear it. So I finally got a chance to do so this past weekend when I went to Cottesloe beach
It does remind me of a PJ top but I don't care I love it I wore it with some boyfriend shorts and I plan on wearing it again with some white jeans its perfect and lightweight for summer.

MAC Lipstick Creme Cup

A make up favourite has to be Creme Cup lipstick from MAC, I've had this for a few months now but found myself wearing this loads over the past month. It's just a nice subtle pink/nude colour with a creamsheen finish. I like it because it can easily be worn for a simple day look or a night look with some lipgloss thrown on top.

That's everything, thanks for reading and hopefully I'll back with another blog post sooner rather than later

August Favourites 2015

Hi everyone, I'm a little late with my monthly favourites but here's some of the things I've been loving this month.

Penneys Handbag

So a fashion favourite of mine this month has to be this bag from Penneys (Primark). I've had this for awhile now and it was gift from my brother. I adore the colour of it and if you follow me on Instagram you'll know I've been obsessed with all things burgundy this winter. This bag is great because it works as both a clutch or a handbag, I love the fact that the chain strap is really chunky, I hate when you get bags with a real flimsy chain that feels like it'll snap if you overload your bag! I've used this bag for nearly every single night out over the last couple of months and it just completes any outfit.

Penneys P.S. Love lipstick

A beauty favourite this month has to be this cheap as chips lipstick again from Penneys! This again was a gift from my friend Elaine from the Weird and Wonderful blog. She discovered that this lipstick is the perfect dupe for Limecrime's Cashmere. It's a lovely mauve/nude shade called 'Whisper' , it's really pigmented and long lasting on the lips. I can't wait to pick a new one up when I'm home at Christmas as this one is almost done! :(

Urban Decay Naked 3

Of course my monthly favourite had to include my recently purchased Naked palette. I had wanted this palette for the longest time and only got round to buying it during my trip home and definitely did not disappoint. The palette includes both matte and shimmer shades, the majority of the colours are rose gold/nude with some darker shades like Blackout. My most used shades so far have been Nooner and Liar. I really love this palette and it was definitely value for money, I'm already contemplating purchasing the other Naked palettes now to complete my collection :)

Anyways that's everything for this past August, as always
thanks for reading,

Payday Wishlist

Hello again! This week's blog post is something different, here's a few things I've had my eye on for the last few weeks while dreaming of payday :)

Boohoo Tailored Cape

A cape is something I've had my eye on for awhile but hadn't found anything I liked until I seen this beaut on Boohoo. I like that it still has the blazer lapels and gives it that more fitted look. I don't usually drift towards white as a coat because it so hard to keep clean at times but I much prefer it to the other colours. And it's so affordable at $36! I'm definitely going to purchase it before the end of the week.

This cape is available from Boohoo here

The Horse Watch

This watch is has been on my wishlist for a long time now I'm in love with it. It's a bit on the expensive side but I always see watches as an investment it's something I wear nearly everyday. I never heard of The Horse before and stumbled across this brand on Youtube (were I get most of my wishlist inspriation from) when I seen it in someone's haul video. I love the rose gold face with the grey leather strap, the websites offers a various colours for straps and faces if this combination isn't for you. I think this purchase is another few weeks down the line but hey I can still dream about it :)

Available from The Horse website here

Boohoo Pinafore Dress

This pinafore dress is another Boohoo item and although we're in the height of winter here in Perth I'm thinking ahead to Summer already. Having just come back from Summer (I use that term loosely) in Ireland pinafore/dungaree dresses are all the rage. I think this will be perfect with a plain white tee or even a striped number for chilling out on the weekend or even more shopping trips!

Available from Boohoo here

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
Last up is a make up item, I've have never tried any of The Balm products before I've heard so many people rave about the Mary-Lou Manizer that I'm dying to try it and see what all the fuss is about. It's pretty reasonably priced in comparison to the MAC highlighters so I'm hoping to pick it up over the next few weeks and see what it's like.

This product is available here

That's all for now, let me know in the comments if there's anything you've been dreaming about buying.
Thanks for reading,

July Favourites 2015

Hello everyone! After missing last months favourites due to being on holidays I thought I'd share some of the things I've been loving this past July :)

MAC Soft and Gentle

First up is this AMAZING highlighter from MAC. It's in the shade 'Soft and Gentle', which is kind of a bronze/gold colour and it gives the most beautiful glow to the skin. I've worn this mostly on nights out over the last few weeks and I can't get enough of it. I was fortunate enough to pick mine up in duty free when I was flying home for $38, it normally retails for $47 which is about normal for MAC products but I thinks it definitely worth the splurge

Available here

Maybelline Lash Sensational
Next, is a mascara from Maybelline called Lash Sensational and I literally haven't stopped using it since I got it. It spreads out the lashes so well and gives so much volume, I'm not the biggest fan of false eyelashes and with this mascara there's definitely no need for them. I've also read online that it's supposedly a dupe for Benefit's Roller Lash so if you're looking for a cheap alternative this is really worth picking up.

Available here

Dotti Nano Lace Up Heels

A fashion favourite of mine this month are these heels from DOTTI that I picked up in the End of Financial Year sales here in Perth. They're a copy cat for SENSO's Riley heels with a croc skin effect on them. These are without a shadow of a doubt the most comfortable heels I've ever owned! I've worn these on a couple of nights out recently and never felt the urge to take them off once like I usually do with some heels. And if you read my last blog post you'll know I have a weakness for any shoe that laces up.

Available here

TOPSHOP Joni Jeans

Another fashion favourite of mine is my Joni jeans from TOPSHOP. I had my eye on these jeans for awhile and was delighted with myself when spotted them on sale for $40 in the EOFY sales. These are the most flattering jeans, they are super high waisted and really suck you in in all the right places! I already owned the Leigh jeans and I think they are such good quality they wash really well and don't lose their shape and they can be dressed up and dressed down easily.

Available here

So that's everything I've loved this past month,
As always thanks for reading,
